Field Additions and Enhancements Coming to the PropTx MLS® System

New and enhanced fields are coming to the PropTx MLS® system. If you have saved searches in REALM® or Matrix using the following fields, review your search criteria and save them again on or after October 22, 2025. 

Note: These enhancements are set to roll out to the Cotality OneHome application in the next few weeks. In the meantime, if multiple pick-list descriptors are selected, only the first item in the list will display on the listing. 

Note: After the October 22 enhancement, PropTx will begin the process to backfill the new fields in historic listing records. This will take several weeks to complete, with newest listings being updated first. 

Field Enhancements 

Enhancements include the addition of multiple pick-list options for the following fields: 

  • Basement 

  • Heat Source 

  • Heat Type 

  • Air Conditioning 

  • Shoreline Exposure 

Pets Permitted Field Choice Renamed 

The Restricted choice in the Pets Permitted field is being renamed to Yes - with Restrictions. 

The Cannabis Dispensary option is being added to the Sale of Business Use field pick-list. 

New Fields 

New fields added to Freehold Sale/Lease will include: 

  • Vacant Land Condo (Y/N) 

  • Vacant Land Condo Monthly Fee (mandatory if Vacant Land Condo flag = Y) 

REALM®: Renaming New Search to Classic Search  

This favourite search layout featuring filters is being renamed to Classic Search on October 21 under the blue Searches drop-down menu. If you prefer, you can set this layout as your default search under Settings.
